[Suggestion]Hireing Section

Postby Ace on Sun Sep 28, 2008 2:11 pm

You guys should have a place where people can go to post applications and look for people to hire them on their servers. It would be really usefull for alot of people to find people to work for their servers. I understand if you guys dont want to I just figured it was an idea that could be considered

P.S.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section I didnt see any other place for suggestions

$40 an hour?

Not too bad.

I get almost that much just for turning up to work every day then sitting around programming osProse while I wait for some of the machinery( Mass Spectrometers that look after ) to break.
It's a hard life doing my job

Yeah.

Me and my friends always used to joke about landing a job where you get paid $60K a year for sitting on your butt doing pretty much nothing for most of the time.
Now I have that job and i have to tell you.... It gets really boring sometimes :(

Well first you have to get a chemistry or electronic engineering degree (preferably both) then get a minimum of 5 years of experience designing analytical chemistry instruments for a major manufacturer, then spend another 3 years travelling the world troubleshooting the things and giving lectures in places like Bangkok, Tokyo and all over Europe.

I earned the right to be a lazy bum

Nah

For one thing, I was already married at the time.
Second, the only people at these lectures were undergrad or even post grad students mostly.

Yes there were some that were rather easy on the eyes though.
