Problem is that 99% of those "admins" are a bunch of clowns...

While that is very true, there are times when a serious server may require help and let's face it, they aren't going to get many qualified responses at ragezone.

As an example of this, I am planning to go public with my own server shortly and I really don't have a whole lot of help yet.
I'm not actually looking for people right now but I can see a time when I might well need to recruit graphic or 3D artists and probably a few GMs.

It would be nice to have a place where i could do this if it becomes necessary

As for noob servers. Well that has to be judged by anyone who may want to respond to their recruiting ads.

PY, we know you're not the token server admin wannabe that usually posts idiotic recruitment threads around here, so if you were to post one, I'm sure the response wouldn't be as cold as it would be with other people. It all has to do with reputation - we know what you are capable of, and would probably be more willing to join your server than some random noob who needs help fixing "skill bug". You follow me? :)
SEARCH - it's there for a reason!

Would you really want to hire the sort of people we get asking questions here...? :P

That was kind of my point :D
People would judge whether they were interested by the reputation of the person posting the want ad.
and BTW Thanks for the vote of confidence. 8-)

Some of them... No.
Others though? maybe.
I have no problem working with anyone who is intelligent enough to be able to learn, regardless of their current level of skill.
I was a rose server noob myself a couple of years ago.
It's all about ability and comitment. There are a lot of people here who I would consider. And not just the ones who regularly post the answers to questions. You can get a pretty good idea about most people very quickly.

Let's say we let someone ask for help, case by case. We already did this in the past.

i would hire developer for my server, like seriouslly, i would give him some useless tasks and have great laugths when he tries to solve them. but other from that i dont mind a reqruit section, just there should be somekind of strict rules for it so we dont see posts like

helo
me nid deveflofer
any wan to be my defleflofer on my supa serve banana rose
(im sorry if there is an existing banana rose lol)

that is unacceptable honestly, but if they manage to make a decent app why not? i mean not every one has patience to lurk around, going round ways to hire good people. some want to just say it plain forward. Bam i need a dev to do that and that, maybe someone will want to join, or want some practice on that thing or whatever. how they deal with who to accept and who not thats not our problem already.

but rescudo is right, its a matter of reputation too, i mean i would get hired a lot easier if i was looking than someone new with the same skill level.

i dont see a problem with a hireing section itself because everyone is free to respond or not respond to hireing threads. maybe noobs hire noobs whatever.
the only problem i see with this is that this may become then kind of a second ragezone because such a section could attract lots of noobs asking the same questions again and again. i am really impressed about the patience some of you answer the same questions again and again.
