Ah so thats where other servers get the new armor from.
It looks pretty cool I've downloaded it also to check it out for those "new" weapons/armors.

After downloading and installing I have extracted all the files but the .STB, .DDS and .ZMS files do not seem to work correctly for me. Just as the game his self, when I start the launcher I get this error:
Image
Pretty useless error, nobody can help with it probably.
And when I open any STB file (LIST_WEAPON.STB for example) it says:

And with .DDS I get:
(with Nero Photosnap Viewer Essentials)
Image
yeah it's Dutch. Translated: Photoshop does not support the classification of the image file.
(with Photoshop CS4)
Image
And when I open a ZMS file with Sparks ZMSViewer it just crashes.

Maybe not the right topic to ask this but it would be verry helpfull if somebody knows how to fix it :)

Are you sure they didn't change the encoding or the file format?

You mean for the .DDS, .ZMS and .STB?
That shoudln't matter for Photoshop with the .DDS files I guess.

And how can I check if they did change it?
And how to make the file usefull?

Every single file in their client is encrypted with a completely retarded encryption. None of them will work until you remove the encryption.

Basically they XOR'd every file with the first byte in the file then shifted the start of the file to the middle and wrapped the end around to the front.

I wrote a utility that fixes the files for you a few months ago. It's in the forums somewhere but apparently didn't get added to the tools.
The thread was entitled something about thai rose i think.

hang on I'll go find it.

here's the post with my tool

Try Souleater's. It works pretty good and lets you extract certain folders as a batch. Quicker than taking the whole thing.
