3dsmax map import

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if someone successfully imported a map with all the objects and decorations into 3dsmax.
I tried the ZnZin max scripts and It only imported the terrain meshes (HIM).

Maybe you guys can help me out?

I believe this is going to be more complex than you anticipate. You'll have to write some code to export data from (I believe) the .IFO files to get the placement of entities and then create a 3D scene with your heightmap and those models.

Weren't you the guy who did some work on the Unity client and had this problem before?

It has been a while, maybe someone has some good pointers to get started again.

The ZnZin max scripts should be able to import all the mesh data whats needed but for some reason it skips the object en decoration part.(all the code is commented in Korean its hard to find out) I also tried a 3dsmax 2010 plugin but only imported the height map.

I used 3dsmax 8,9 and 2010 without any success except the height maps.
Rose clients I tried: 736kr, 799, 109en and 129en.

Maybe its the combination of the maxscript/plugin with a specific client/files.

I started this topic hoping someone has some more knowledge about this proces.
