Beta Rose emulator????

Has anyone ever tried to make an emulator for the beta version of Rose?

You know... The one that they used for a year or so before switching to evo.

Also would client editing of such a system still be illegal since the software has not been used by Triggersoft/Gravity in over a year now.

There use to be one, someplace I still have mine, but everything moved to EVO, so that I am aware of, it never moved forward.

In regards to the older clients, it was long out of beta stage, even then all of that I would think is still considered property of Triggersoft/Gravity.

What a person does on their own at home may be one thing, after that, who knows.

Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the information Rob.
I was just wondering because I still have a full installation of the old system on my computer and was wondering if it could be worked/edited in the same way as iRose or whether it is actually more similar to evo in it's structure.

I think out of all the systems that Rose ever used, it is still my favorite.

If it could be advanced by editing resource files rather than directly going into the core of the VFS stuff then it could be a very worthy and almost infinitely expandable project.

Also I wonder at what point is something like this actually considered to be 'abandonware' ?
I really have no idea about that but it may be worth pursuing.

I will try to remember which one was the pre-evo one

So many different ones we were working on at that time too

Guess I should clean out the real old stuff while I am at it too.

The Rose between IRose and RoseEvo was Rosena.

While playing ruff rose I accedently put the bat file in the rosena client folder and to my surprise it worked like it did in the original Rosena the skills and everything so I think it is more like IRose than EVO...Try it with osirose and see.

RoseNA is actually a Evo now, but wasn't before so must have a pretty old one I guess ^^

I found some pre-evo server files on gamerzplanet:

These were released at one point and they got removed I think at least. Work with these and lets get a 100% working narose pre-evo server. I am so sick of iROSE and am sure a lot of everyone else is. Forgot with these files you can login but you cannot walk around but if you know what your doing it you'll get it.
