OsRose dev rev access.

Ok after long bitching from Drakia and as in the poll you want it, here is the dev rev.

URL:
https://osrose-svn.cvsdude.com/trunk
Login / password: beta81/beta81

Some rules (call that "Drakia's noob fraging time"):
0°) This dev rev is not user friendly, and is not stable, it's a work stuff,
1°) if you don't know how to setup osRose, if you don't know how to use a svn, if you have 10 IQ, don't use it,
2°) you add me into msn to ask me questions on how to setup it, you'll be banned,
2.1°) you PM me for the same questions, you'll get banned,
3°) you ask noob questions about it in the forums, you'll be banned,
4°) you want to post bugs, put [Bugs81] into the thread title,

Some help:
-> codeblocks is highly recommended,
-> most of the config stuff aren't in the .ini anymore but in the "list_config" mysql table,
-> you MUST use an updated unmodded client (naRose or naRose Pegasus, for Pegasus see "list_config" mysql table and put "is_pegasus" to 1),
-> you MUST use the current Trose.exe, you DON'T need the GG patch anymore,
-> You MUST use the "Trose.exe" from the game, no need anymore for "gameguard patch". DON'T USE THE GAMEGUARD PATCH.,
-> Gameguard check does NOT work,
-> don't use the union war stuff, the code has been REMOVED since it'll be done by AIP / QSD,
-> the database layout is NOT compatible with rev 80,
-> There are a LOT of logs done as there are some tests underway.
-> use this thread to setup your CodeBlocks, and this file for mysql / pthread2 (done by Drakia):
libmysql_pthread2.zip
(700.96 KiB) Downloaded 1910 times

-> you MUST use a Gameguard server:
Note:
Since their client 212, naRose REMOVED Gameguard so if you're using naRose client 212 and above, you DON'T need to setup a Gameguard server anymore.
So you can use the naRose client, with naRose's Trose.exe, without Gameguard server.

1°) you must have Apache installed somewhere,
2°) install this rar at the root of your webserver,
nProtect.rar
(1.11 MiB) Downloaded 1934 times

The path should be this one in the end:
your_server_root\nProtect\GameGuard\RealServer

For example my webserver path beeing "E:\web\www\", once you unrar the GG server:
E:\web\www\nProtect\GameGuard\RealServer

So the files are all into:
E:\web\www\nProtect\GameGuard\RealServer

SNAG-dev_rev_0002.png

3°) change the "hosts" file and make gameguard connect to another computer:
  1. C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

and put:
  1. [YOUR_IP]        nprotect.roseonlinegame.com

For example:
  1. 127.0.0.1  nprotect.roseonlinegame.com

I recommend everyone read that thread:

Just a word, most of the config stuff aren't in the .ini anymore but in the "list_config" mysql table.

Are you sure the GameGuard check doesn't work? If I recall well, when I used the TRose.exe without GameGuard (somewhere around here) and left the GameGuard check on, it blocked me from playing. And I remember there was a notice in the server logs as well. Is that right?

lmame, is that user a read-only user, or does it have write access as well?

Read only of course for this user (beta81).
Like all svn on earth, there are two accesses.
You don't want read / write access for everyone, right?
