Well here it is.

Following the unfortunate demise of RoseZA and with Thriel's permission here is the newest version of the dev rev.

DEV REV III

I just created a new SVN repository and uploaded all my code, including some half built stuff that was intended to be used at RoseZA.
Use tortoiseSVN to download the repository at this URL.

The repository includes working executables and a very nice auto-restarter.
Please ignore all the debug messages in the world server. They are just there to help debug stuff. (hence the name DEBUG ^_^)

Please use the installation instructions from previous versions of the dev rev. The overall format hasn't changed at all

I haven't had the time to upload a client for this server yet. I'll try to get around to that this afternoon.
It's taking long enough just to sort out the source code.....

This revision contains the following major differences from Dev Rev 2

Supports Costumes.
Spawn code completely rewritten to work more accurately with data from the IFO files
Quest code has been partially reworked to eliminate reliance on a quest completion packet needing to be sent from the client. (apparently still not 100% bug free)

Many minor parts of the code were reworked / repaired. See Thriel's thread for more details.

What narose client need to use for your source?

It uses the client that RoseZA had. i think Thriel said it was 317 or something.

Either way I just started uploading a compatible client.

Well that failed completely. 3 hours to upload it and then the damn site wouldn't give me a URL to it.

This isn't quite identical to the one that I will upload as soon as I can figure it out.
For one thing it isn't going to be patched to the latest version

I might have to defrag the VFS first to remove almost a gigabyte of crap from it. Damn file is too big to upload to gamefront lol.

how to dissable the dubbel client check in the server?

becaurse i can not test it local.

than it says that i login with a second client.

Dev Rev is currently not really compatible with RoseZA's client, you need a newer client version, I forgot which one.
But however, it's still very strange it says you already logged in.

You need client 323.

You can use the roseza client, but then you will have to update it first since the client posted above was 317 or 318, and also remove alot of the customisations which novice admin might find little difficult. it may be best to use a fresh 323 client and build onto that.

So I have installed this DEV REV 3 exactly as the DEV REV 2 install thread says to.
I have a clan version of CLIENT 323 installed.
I have used the database installer .BAT file from the DEV REV 3.
I have never had a problem installing a ROSE SERVER before.

I get this error in my World Server:



Everything seems to be working fine on the other (login,char) and I am able to make accounts fine etc.. What is the fix here? Any help or input greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

If I remember correct it's unused at the moment, so I wouldn't be too fast with commiting code out.
