Refine Rules doen't seem to work.
I put 0 for items not to fail but it still fails in game.
Refines rules are adjusted in the Refine_rules.csv inside 3ddata folder right?

CSV files are usually in the data directory

I have never done this part before, so I need to ask.

What is the best way to find out the encryption that they use on the current client?

If it is reading packets, what is the best way to tell the proper packet?

Thanks

Observe on the IroseZA team was our packet decoder and i know he liked to use Wireshark. Wolfwing made a packet sniffer, but still the guys prefered wireshark over that for capturing packets while playing on narose. so i guess you should download wireshark and maybe read a few guides, or ask wolfwing to release his packet sniffer. in a nutshell both wireshark and packet sniffer will show which packets the client is requesting and it will show what the server is sending. so if you see the wrong packet being sent you can change the packet server side to match client.

BUG REPORT:

Candle Ghosts crashes the servers for some reason.
I have an uncertain theory tho - It's when it would try to debuff players as purify doesn't work.
Meanwhile- the best solution I can think of is set time in all maps to [DAY] only/always.

Hi guys.
I just have one question please.
Where can I delete one of the dialogue options of the NPC?
I need to close the clan fields - and Burtland allows the players to teleport to them.

I need to delete the dialouge (at the moment) that teleports the players to the fields
instead he will say something like "the fields are closed right now". Please and thank you

All, I have seen some bug reports, but don't see anyone actively doing updates to the code that the RoseZA team, who was very nice to publically released to us.

Is anyone actively working on any of the bug fixes? They have told us that if we work more as a big team and not as individual server owners that there are other things they will release to us.

I admit, I am not a programmer, so I can only try to help manage and test things, but there are many of you out there who do know some if not quite a bit and can do fixes for all of us.

Remember, you can not only download, but you can also upload back to the SVN. The only thing I also ask is you do like I did here in this part of the forum, let us know what revision and what you did.

Thank you all

I couldn't agree more sir rl2171.
I have to be honest myself - I'am not a programmer.
All I can do from here is to test things and report bugs.
I wish I could do something to actually help.

Oh I missed PY. :(

I'm trying to stretch out my horizon in programming which right now is scaled 1 out of a hundred. :(
I have one idea with fixing the MOUNTED CAMERA bug. This bug is where camera gets messed up when
you entered a gate riding a mount. The HP BAR and AVATAR CAMERA stays at the warp's respawn zone while your
character could actually move around and walk/run.

*I will post the ScreenShot soon.

But anyway, the idea of fixing it is from the driving carts' codes - I've noticed everytime a player crosses a gate
with the cart on - as soon as he respawn to the next map the cart is unmounted ( lack of a good word to describe it: maybe UNDRIVEN? :? )
I'm trying to find where cart driving is coded - can anyone point me in the right direction? Please?

Don't get me wrong, the bug reports are great, it is the fixing we need to get done as a group and/or contribute them onto one svn.

Hopefully we will see more updates to the SVN in the near future.

The project should've moved to github many moons ago, it's effortless to contribute.
