Hey,

I dont know where to post this, so I posted it over here.
My database is in Navicat trial of 30 days. I just have 4 days left.
When that periode is over, do I lose al my data like the acounts then? :S
And who knows a free programm to manage my database when the navicat trial periode is over?

No you don't lose the data, the program just accesses the mysql tables and data, doesn't time out like the program.

There are free programs if I recall, but at this moment I don't recall the names.

When you're using WAMP A program called PHPMyAdmin is delivered with it. It's a web basted database program.

accessable by http://localhost/phpmyadmin

I use Xamp, but plz can someone give me some names for a sort of free navicat programm?

You can use HeidiSql -> http://www.heidisql.com/
It's almost the same as navicat, but free

Try MySQLYog
http://www.webyog.com/en/
It's free and looks exactly like Navicat.

Personally i much prefer to use phpmyadmin (which comes free with Xampp anyway). It is way more functional IMO.

True PHPMyAdmin's features are shown much easier, than Navicat.


SQLYog is rather wierd. It's takes way to many actions to actualy explore your data.

It also has a nasty habit of truncating data when i use it to export to a csv file. <_<

But it's still your choise on wich type of application you want to use, we can't force you to pick a paticulair one.
