ok so this guide involves the downloading of multiple clients
1. Latest Rose Version (At the moment of writing V374)
2. Rose Client 254

and will require you some programs to edit some files
1 Launcher.ini
2 patch.xml

Ok lets start

1. Copy the following into a new file called patch.xml

Line number On/Off | Expand/Contract | Select all

4. <patchroot>http://patch.roseonlinegame.com/roseonline/evopatch/</patchroot>
5. <patches>
6. <patch version="280" file="280_patchlist.zip" compressed="True" />
7. <patch version="307" file="307_patchlist.zip" compressed="True" />
8. </patches>
9. </RosePatch>
10.  

2. Download all the contents this page here
(Might be another date, dind test)

3. put the newest roseonline.exe (launcher) in your older client

4. open launcher.ini (with for example notepad)

5. direct XMLpatch to your patch.xml like this [Marked in RED]

6. Run the roselauncher in the older client and it will update to 307

7. Extract all the files downloaded from step 2 into your 307 client

8. Enjoy a fresh and clean 307 client!

Do you have any link to the 254 client download?

So far I've only found one proper NA client: http://download.mmosite.com/html/game/155/ Which is V243.

Guess it doesn't matter alot however.

I didn't put it into 3 parts tho, some douche decided to do that on the off' warpportal forums.

Btw lemme know how it goes with the manual patch as i might need to grab that clean 307 too ( got a vending bug and Iv'e found out its the trose thats been edited not server files )

The unzipping worked with the pass you provided, thanks

And also the patching worked just fine. Just make sure you use the launcher.ini that's Already in ROSE's root folder and place the new patch.xml inside of your root folder of your wamp / xampp / w.e. server you host and assign the patchXML to there like explained in the guide.

Shouldn't be much of a problem, but might you get any however just post here^^

Sad, when it was almost done patching the updater gave an error 403(forbidden): the download request could not be processed by the server.

So far I've failed to figure out what the cause is of this

EDIT: Seem to have already fixed it. For some reason my wamp didn't want to host my little website anymore

Wamp is gone evil
