Im finally done with my Rose online launcher,


Including


~Banner useable for every server
~Play/exit buttons (NO WAY?!)
~The Visual C '10 editing file to edit it yourself.


As you see, its quite simple, it took me like 30minutes to build (Im totally new to Visual C) with some help from Guides of Visual C around the web.



About
This launcher is coded to start the server on IP 127.0.0.1, which is everyone's local IP. That means that you will have to use this launcher on a server with serverip 127.0.0.1 (However you will be the only one able to play then)OR you have to change the IP (Very easy) using visual C 2010 & the Editing file i'll give.

How to change the IP to your IP using Visual C 2010
Download Visual C '2010 & Open my editing file with it,

Double click the start button on my launcher and change the IP you see (127.0.0.1) to your serverIP and your good to go!

One the file edit thingy is called Source Code, 2 Its Unable to patch so the server can not update.

And I believe this is a sources i mite have seen on RageZone. No offense but neocube will at-least patch the client. And its customizable as well.

Actually there is no source in his post or I misread something... There is only the .sln which is project description and not the source code?

Like i said, im doing this just to experience Visual C, and if i can help some starters with it, its even better.

your project isn't complete, files are missing (rose online launcher.vb and the design version of it) or it's wrongly linked.

Some files are wrongly placed according to your project .sln .

For people who want to try it:
Move all "Rose online launcher" files from " "\BETALAUNCHERREV\Resources\" to "\BETALAUNCHERREV\".

You should read warnings too, "Launcher!" isn't a valid resource name...

At last, you mean the pics to place in the map not in resources right?

can you add a patch code like neoncube? im using vb and the only thing that i want to know is how the patch will work please help..
