Hi,
I downloaded the STB editor but when I open for example list_sell.stb I see this weird chars (much ???'s):

What's wrong? Or do you guys understand these syntaxes? o.O

STB files are korean I guess. You need the proper language pack.

How to add a language collection in Windows XP?
From Start menu, select Settings then Control Panel.
Start Regional Options.
Click on Languages tab.
In Supplemental language support box, check the checkboxes of desired language collection(s) and click OK.
Additional files will be copied to your machine. You may need to provide the Windows XP CD or the network share name.
After reboot, support for new languages will become available.

Once you install this, you can see the ?????s as Korean symbols. But if you can't read Korean, it doesn't help much.

Reader Example (Faster than the first one)
The script works correct so you see that some data of the mobs is totaly wrong.

I made an stb editor of my own using wx-devcpp.
Its got the same funcionality as the one brett made, only it loads files faster and doesn't crash when you empty an cell and save the file.
the only draw back is its a huge executable compared to bretts one.

deleted old link

this is an better version written with vc++ 2005
thisone shows korean characters

Arnold, you editor seems to add some extra field..so id's is misplaces. else its great .. fast and not that annoying null error you got with brett stbeditor.

[LIST_NPC.STB]
like 1081 is id for npc [Mayor Darren].... in editor its shows 1083.

my editor starts numbering at 1 and bretts one starts at 0, my software shows the index row as first, brets one uses the header row for that.

thats why it looks like two extra rows.

im working on an new version written with vcpp, this one does show korean characters or squares if you havent installed the korean language, and if you save it it keeps the korean characters unlike this version and bretts one.

the link to my new version is
