Help me for a website

This is guide mostly for website tools and code, for example CMS or registration scripts.
There can also be tools.

On a different topic:
Would I be mistaken to say that DarkROSE stole their design from http://www.dcarter.co.uk/? =p I don't like people who remove the copyright notice of someone's work.

Look perhaps someone will take the time to help you BUT you have to LEARN also !
So brace yourself and go see some tutorials, everyone started at 0 level.

Yes you're mistaken. I used the default Dynasty CMS layout. Just now I made my own one. I don't need to steal others layouts... I make free layouts by myself =p

Yes you're mistaken. I used the default Dynasty CMS layout. Just now I made my own one. I don't need to steal others layouts... I make free layouts by myself =p

Some tips for a good website:

  • Good nagivation
  • Color friendly (No heavy colors)
  • Don't use alot of images (lowers the loading time)
  • Try to avoid moving images (.gif)
  • Don't use frames at all.
  • Use standerised code.
  • Browser Friendly

Also make sure to test the site in all the major browsers. That includes Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera at least.

Choose which kind of coding will you follow:

XHTML Transitional
XHTML Strict
HTML

Personally, I prefer Transitional, because to me it seems to the most suitable. Make sure to make your coding valid. Usually when it's valid, the fix for other browsers will be easier.

I feel like HTML 4.01 strict is the way to go =)
