[SOLVED] Undead GM....

Hello,

running osRose rev81.360, client 254 (cant patch, see other bug post...).


Bug: GM dies but dont die...

This has actually happened a few times now, triggering it seems to be random tho.

The first time it happened, my gm avatar popped some buff potions, then the hp went to 0/32k,
the gm didnt 'die' tho, it remains 'alive', but unable to move, the next time it happened, yet again, I popped the buff potions, then used /go 3 to tele. Upon arrival, was 'undead'.

Like a fool, just noticed I hadnt enabled logging for the server, will re-produce and provide logs if needed.

Nooby's avatar data is attached however.

EDIT: Logs of this bug have now been attached.

Bug is also reproduceable perfectly everytime, just pop all 4 potions and use a /go <xx> command.

I don't understand... A GM drinks 4 potions then he dies??

Not quite, I take the 4 potions, then use the /go <xx> command, after the loading screen, you are stood there with 0 hp, but not technically dead. Cant move, not sure about attacking, no mobs in range after I use /go.

I tried mixing the potions, couldnt get it to reproduce the error if you have a mix of the 4, but if you have all 4, it'l 'kill' you.

I've also noticed something else, as a Muse, cast that blessing body skill ( the hp/mp increase one ),
hp/mp goes up like expected, however, when the buffs run out, your max hp/mp goes back down to normal, which is as expected. But - The HP will flick from the after-buff value back to the before-buff value. It seems as if the regeneration doesnt understand the buff is gone.

There is a problem with HP / MP max amount calculation and it explains some HP/MP jumping though it does that also in the official server.

As for the potions you take...
1°) you have full health (?),
2°) you drink 4 potions,
3°) you type /go,
4°) your HP amount decreases to 0,

Is that how it happens?
What are exactly the 4 potions you're taking? (Item number and so on)? Were you full health when you took them?

Yep, full health when the potions are used. And after the loading screen clears from using /go, 0 HP.

The item numbers and stuff should all be in the attached files, but the numbers are:

961, 10
962, 10
963, 10
964, 10

Let me guess, it buffs your strenght, your attack goes up real high, and your hp goes up?

After about 28k health your hp will remain 0.

Yes, the items are the hp/mp booster, speed boster, defense booster and erm, something else booster.

Takes the Gm up to 44k HP....

Only happens if your max stat is really high, and if your level is alot higher than 250. What is your max stat for players and staff members?

list_config has max_stat as 400.

Theres only 1 gm account and character, stats at 500 lol.

Try setting your level to 250.
