there is no render window that it can update i think. this can only happen when it had problems initializing directx or the window on starting up. or when you closed the window, minimized it or something like that.

what if a fatal error happens, will it restart it?

Thanks Maxxon, this gives me a starting point to work from.

Strange, i tried the 2.0 version just for the hell of it, that one works perfect. render window gives no problems.

Just though i would pass that on.

i cant help you unless you will be a bit more precise. maybe try one of the older versions that seem to work for some ppl.

Well, i used for some time version 2.01. I dont know why today dont work anymore.
I tri to install framework 3.5 service pack 1, but i get the same error....

when it crashes while updating the render window (like it does there) it was no able to init directx.

I have had similar problems to the last few posts, but I believe it was because i closed the render window. So, I tried the earlier version, and it worked as expected till I again closed the render window. Is there a way to call up the render window while the program is running?

Probably need to compile it as x86 instead of "Any CPU" to get it to work for everyone.
