Alright I see, that makes sense!
It's strange that there's a transform bone there though, it must be added in the maya export somehow, because it's not there when I click export!
I'll try tomorrow to see if I can prune the bone manually after exporting or if there's another workaround. Thanks a lot for the help! :)

Hey Spark, I also have a question about the SMD files!

I've been testing around with the converter and started with converting the MALE.ZMD, ARM1_00100.ZMS, BODY1_00100.ZMS, BODY1_00110.ZMS, FOOT1_00100.ZMS and BOW_ATTACK_M1.ZMO. So this includes a 3d model of a headless character + a bow attack animation. I've first tested these files in your new 3D model viewer where they work perfectly. After I've converted those files into .SMD files I've opened them in Fragmotion and started to edit them. All I did was rotateing some "joints" or however it's named. Once I was done I've saved the animation as .SMD and converted back to .ZMD/.ZMS/.ZMO. Tested the new converted files in the 3D model viewer, which does work! It nicely plays the custom animation. But after placeing the .ZMO in my rose client it's "errors", here's a screenie: http://i42.tinypic.com/16ljn0i.jpg

Also when I open the files in Fragmotion and immediately save it as .SMD without any edits to the file, it still errors ingame.

Could you explain me why it does not play the correct animation ingame?

So before and after the modification the ZMO works in my viewer?

Found anything unusual in the modified smd file yet?
I've seen that If you open the modified smd file in Notepad you can see that some "coordinates" I guess, are displayed as -0.000000 while in the original file it says 0.000000. Don't know if that will have anything to do with it, hehe.

Not to rush you, but it would also confirm if you received my pm :)

-0.0000 or 0.000 is still 0, so no worries there.
Couldn't see anything unusual at first glance, it needs deeper exam.

The customized SMD file is included in the pm I've sent you before, it's in the "SMD after edit (animation only)" folder. I didn't edit/export the REF file in Fragmotion, I've only done the Animation part.

(Also tried it a few times with exporting the REF + ANIM files in Fragmotion but it gave the same result).

Thanks a bunch for making this converter hey Spark. :) I've dived right in and attempted to edit a mob, the weapon dummies don't seem to convert properly but everything else works pretty sweet.

If i convert these to SMD (reference and motion) and open it in blender the meshes are weird.
They are getting like cropped (body part is like cropped towards the head)

Is this a blender issue or the SMD file doing weird stuff :S
