Also Purple, the GUI of your editor is fucked in newer versions of windows.

Works fine in my windows 7.
Can't speak for windows 8 though. I haven't tested it in that.

I'm thinking of starting to develop tools for Rose Online and open source tools. and I would like to start creating something as simple as an importer of maps.
It would be pretty simple to me even just start creating tools and evolve with time.
In case this tool would just read the selected row of the STB and there he would take the map directory and copy all files from it and care for your client.
Well I'm still wondering how I'll do it, will be simple but it will be difficult for me xD but hopefully I can evolve.

If someone could give me tips thank them!

Writing a fully functional map importer isn't as easy as you think.

Hi PurpleYouko,

Thanks a lot for all your contributions. May I ask you why in the v2 of your VBCon tool you removed the resizable option of the window ? I'm kinda stuck due to this... (no idea why...)

Here is a screenshot to show you the difference I got on Windows 7 x64.

If you are on the way to quick fix this and you have some extra free time, I can suggest you a v2.1 with the following :
- allow the resize option of the window
- change the help with right version
- add a button to compile LUA
- rename the 3 buttons : 1) Extract the LUA | 2) Compile the LUA | 3) Import the file
(with or without "success popup window" for all these functions :))

As I said, I'm really happy for using your tool (v1), it's doing all the magic stuff :) Great job !

Let me know if I can help for anything.

That resizable window thing is due to upgrading from VB6.0 to VB.net
I couldn't figure out how to allow it to be resizable at the time
It's a pretty old tool now
