There are now a lot of tools shared by people or available and the way tools were displayed wasn't adapted anymore.

So the Tools Forum has been modified in order that:
-> one thread lists all the tools available, this thread is a sticky, Tool list,
-> each tool has his own thread with a quick description, a link to a guide or tutorial when needed, the compiled version and sometimes the source,
-> each tool has a "vote" system in it so devs can see if there is a problem with the tool or not,
-> as each tool has his own thread, people can ask in the threads, specifically about the tools,

Now, this special tool forum is NOT a question forum. So only tools can have their own thread.
If you want to submit a new tool, make a thread in Client Editing section for example and send a PM to Rob or me (or send directly a PM) and we'll create a thread into the Tool Forum.
No other threads will be allowed in this Tool Forum.


Most important thing, I and Rob would like to thank all developers for sharing their tools with us, the forum and all Rose people, we really appreciate your work and efforts

Now I tried to list as much tools I could find though I certainly forgot some. If you see some tools I forgot (like editors or QSD editors or VFS editor for JRose) please post them in this thread (URL or files) and I'll add them to the forum tools

Same thing if you see some credits are missing, please tell us and we'll change it.

I found GG hack, ZMS viewer (thanks Rifke), and added quite some still the above are "missing" if you have links

thanx for this lmame, it will make tool searching much easier, just go and download instead of knocking ur self out looking through topics.

one more stl editor but it displays all languages separately and very nicely and can be quite useful (for example i used it to find which items are new after importing jrose stuff because it loads the Japanese text too so you just look for one that doesn't have an English description, maybe it will be useful to someone)

Another little tool id like to share with you, its a stand alone dds to psd,jpg (and back to dds) and some others converter. the only issue with it is that it only converts file with a multiply of 2 thing or something like that, basicly it has to be resolution like 128x256, but it works on any rose files, its more an issue importing custom textures if you didnt make them standart size. but it also has a batch convert function which is very useful in a lot of cases. so have fun

Hi mod, I have one question about VFS file. I need repacked it from every file I extracted from 3DDATA.VFS file by VFSExtractor.exe soft ! How can I do !?
