Client Editing is a delicate subject. osRose and osiRose will not support or use any Client Editing tool or results as a standard. So you are free to experiment, test, and develop there on Client Editing, but at your own risk :)

I'd assume if you did that the character would then be under the cart, though I'm not positive how the player is positioned relative to the cart.
My favorite skill is scaring new users away.

Ah well. Hopefully we can get the jROSE TRose working for us Evo users at least. Then again, it's not a big deal that it doesn't hover.

u assumed it, i confirmed that :P i can tell from a graphical point of view, the character in cart position is defined by a coord value which is static, which would still mean editing trose but that would make all the other carts look stupid

There is something, somewhere that defines the position and stance of a character in a cart or castle gear.
I know that since i was messing around with carts that are off the end of the normal list.
For a while they are invisible but act normally then you end up lying on your side in mid air instead of sitting.
I even tried importing the PIG cart and that ended up with my character standing up in the cart and constantly attacking with the animation used for a wand. Quite funny but definitely indicative of some client side values that are changeable in the resource files.
Then there is the castle gear which places you much higher off the ground.

I haven't actually gone looking for ways to change this but it would appear that it might be possible.
Need to lookup information on NARose items, skills, quests?
Now featuring a newly completed skill tree for all classes
Formatting fixed for different resolutions

Calder, i have this Pats working long time ago.... the problem is, AeroBike uses part type 51, so if you change to 21 (how cart) you can mount AeroBike, but you can see movments, how close body, up, down and open body.
Using part type 21 you can move aerobike, but with a stupid engine movment. I think that this part type is code inside, because i cant find any stb with this informations.

I tried to make a new skill to, to execute movments (MOV files). but dont work too.

In some tests i made aerobike up, but with parts wrong mounted and with PET MOVMENT error too.

So, if is possible, maybe need to change trose.exe....

About Photon, this new weapon/PAT uses only 3 parts, so iRose cant mount correctly it.

there are mov files with pat? since mov normally defines where the player can go and where not.

As for the position tbh it probably is somehow defined in the zsc, im not sure how though, maybe it reads some mesh point and attaches player in a sitting position on it. like weapons are attached to a player, so maybe player is attached to a cart, it would make the most sense at least.

Oh well. We can pretty much rule that out as an option then.
Since when did anything in rose get done in a way that makes sense? :)
