Client Editing is a delicate subject. osRose and osiRose will not support or use any Client Editing tool or results as a standard. So you are free to experiment, test, and develop there on Client Editing, but at your own risk :)

and also i dont know if it was abandonned or not. unless you were only commenting not asking. but i never really cared about it much. thought i would just stick to 7hz from the start :P

np, my aim was to make it as idiot proof as possible so even if some 1 post started today never even heard of rose person came along and tried it he might get somewhere at least.

Can someone please tell me where equip_data is handled now? It's not in the binary/data folder by default in the dev rev.

Great tut. Was very easy to follow. But without the equip_data (or knowing where it's handled), it's not showing server side that an item was added??? Or maybe I did something wrong and the tut's not COMPLETELY idiot proof! LOL

In any case, can someone please tell me where that equip_data is handled now?

In all but osrose rev80 and earlier, all teh equip data is handled directly from the STBs
That simplifies it really since all you need to do is mod the STB then place copies of it in both client and server.
Need to lookup information on NARose items, skills, quests?
Now featuring a newly completed skill tree for all classes
Formatting fixed for different resolutions

This is a brilliant guide, but i must of missed something but i dont know what because when i go into my irose server and type the id of the item i added, it appears in my EQ box but it doesnt show an image, and when i click on it the wings dont appear on my back, does anyone know what i have done wrong?
