Redirecting World Server?

Postby tackyjan on Thu May 02, 2013 6:27 pm

I want to create a proxy that captures Rose packets. I know how to start Rose using the following command:

TRose.exe @TRIGGER_SOFT@ _server %SERVER_IP% --init --username %USERNAME% --password %PASSWORD% --login

So using that command I can redirect to my proxy but this is only for the login server (?). Once the Rose client connects to the login server (and I assume validates your login) it then connects to the world server. I need a way to tell the Rose client to also use localhost (127.0.0.1) for the world server (instead of 128.241.92.42 for Leonis).

My question is, how to I configure the Rose client to use 127.0.0.1 for the world server as well?

Thanks!

In the proxy, you need to modify the world server redirect packet to have 127.0.0.1 instead of the actual IP.
