ALL buffs are working just fine as far as i am aware.
At least they are in osrose and osprose
Possibly osirose may be a little behind on this as there hasn't been an update for a while.

Still specifics are really useful if something needs fixing.
Need to lookup information on NARose items, skills, quests?
Now featuring a newly completed skill tree for all classes
Formatting fixed for different resolutions

I've been running an osirose server for a week or so and my little brother has been playing on it non-stop(seriously, he even pretended sick so he didn't have to go to school...), and all the buffs seem to be working fine. Only the HP is a little buggy, but if I remember correctly all servers here have a buggy HP atm.

I also compared the osprose and osirose buff script, (the first osprose rev has been based of osirose if I'm correct), and they do differ a LOT, heck, they're COMPLETELY different. I tried replacing the whole osirose buff.cpp with the osprose buff.cpp but even after I got it to compile(had to edit some stuff in variuous headers and other source files(like battle.cpp I think)), the buffs didn't work, the actual "skill movement" animation worked, but the "active buff" animation didn't, since you didn't get buffed at all.

So unless someone can tell me on top of his head which files have been changed to make the new buff.cpp working in osprose, I won't be trying to replace it for the next couple of weeks.

Phew, quite a long post I must say :p

Why not just run an osprose server and files? :lol:

I completely rewrote buff.cpp for osprose. The old version had so many problems that it was easier to just throw it out and start from scratch using the status variable which was never loaded in from the STB previously.

I wonder if that is your problem?

You have added status to the buff code and put in all the headers and stuff but did you actually modify startup.cpp so that it loads the necessary data into the skill list? :lol:

If all teh status values for all the skills are zero then I guess you would get exactly what you described.

I did edit a LOT including the startup.cpp since I was pretty sure all the Status values where zero :p But without any success...
I probably will be running an osprose server instead, since they do not differ so much anyway(except the osprose one is still being worked on :p), I'm wondering though, not really rose related though, more svn, but when I modify a file locally, and you guys might edit something else yourself and commit it to the svn, and I update my SVN, will my own modification will be lost? I think it'll be gone, but I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking.

Most of my changes would be bugfixes anyhow(which probably would be the reason why you guys would update the svn rev :p)
