Maintenance message.

Postby HeroKnight1 on Wed Feb 20, 2008 6:41 pm

Ok well I don't know how to screen shot my programs but I have everything set up the way the pics in the osiRose guide had it setup. I have all IDs 1-3 matching in the .conf files and in Navicat. I also have my IP and host IP and user host and pw all matching. When I run the .bat file it starts up and i type in my login ID and I get a <Server Dead> Maintenace message thing that says the server is under maintenance. I am using the AruaRose client b/c that is all I had already and didn't want to bother trying to find an iRose client. Please help thanks.

Did you open ports for game?
Did you put your IP in the Arua client?

Yes I did open ports for it. Even the 29210 and 29110 ports for the charserv thing. I don't know what you mean by put my ip in the arua client? I did change the ip in the .bat file from mine to 127.0.0.1 and now im able to get the where u pick the channel but when I pick the channel I get the same message. Please help.

*edit: and yes my .bat launcher file is in the arua folder if thats what u mean.*

Thank you for that info. It works for me now but will others be able to connect with me using that IP there?

I am having the same issue.
From other server hosting experience you could try to use your exact computer ip to connect to the server: 192.168.xx.xx.

cmd -> ipconfig-> ip
