I'm experiencing huge volumes of epic fail when trying to get Blender to recognize this script.

I tried putting it in both the scripts and scripts\addons folders but blender doesn't see it in the addons list.
I even gave it a subfolder inside both of these directories. still no luck.

before anybody says that my path doesn't match the one specified let me point out that I'm using Blender 2.61 and the addons path appears to be a bit different.
Any ideas?

There is nothing to do with the paths, simply the script is for blender 2.49
A lot of changes were made in the script/add-on programming after blender 2.5+
I didn't know that somebody is still using blender along with ROSE except me =)

I used the latest version that was posted on this thread and in the tools forum by lmame.
For some reason Blender just refuses to recognize the script.

If you download and install blender 2.49b from http://download.blender.org/release/Blender2.49b/ and then follow the instructions from the topic here it should work just fine.

BTW, just tested it and it works.

I'll give it a try with the older blender version. Thanks.
