ZMS/OBJ epic fail o.o

well i tried to use Seth's guide and it worked great, IF you load an obj. once it's exported to ZMS, the dds doesn't apply right :( here's how it looks with...

I'm no expert at this but I think you exported the DDS wrong. Something to do with Alpha settings if I remember right.
Need to lookup information on NARose items, skills, quests?

k i'll futz with it. im using the plugin for CS5 extended and it aint the simplest thing in the world haha.

i do remember having to delete the alpha channel it said there were to many :p

Heyas ^^
There is 2 solutions for your issue:

1: Bad UV export with the OBJ file, Just try to export your model to a .3DS file and then export it to .ZMS (with spark tool if it is not a boned model [animated one like armours and so on..])

2: UVWs are bad, then It's maybe an error if you imported your model into 3DSmax that often hapen Just go and check it in Unwrap UVWs tool in 3DSmax and see if they are wraped or not, if they are then you'll have to remake the UVWs. If not then I don't really know <_> It is sure a texture problem or UVWs theres no over ways this could happen.

By the way if you just changed the texture and not the model, you can just use the game model while adding it into the game just rename it corectly :b

aka Spark (ZMSViewer, Blender ZMS plug-in, RoseOnline ZMS/ZMD/ZMO to SMD and vice versa converter)
