Sounds like a big problem :P You could end up filling your entire hard drive with a text file x_x
Perhaps hex the znzin.dll so it stops writing to that file.

To fix the error log size, create a folder called "SCRIPTS" in the Rose Online folder, and throw this script into it. Name it "LOAD.LUA"

  1. ---------------------------
  2. -- lua script to load scene
  3. --
  4. -- written by zho@korea.com
  5. -- 2002.10.23
  6. -- version : 02-11-29-01
  7. ---------------------------
  8.
  9. doScript( "scripts/load_shader.lua" )
  10. doScript( "scripts/load_light.lua" )
  11. doScript( "scripts/load_camera.lua" )
  12. doScript( "scripts/load_fog.lua" )
  13.
  14. setGammaValue( 0.5 )
  15. activateLog( 0 )
  16. ---doScript( "testscripts/test_scene_one.lua" )
  17.
  18. ---doScript( "scripts/load_sky.lua" )
  19.
  20. ---doScript( "scripts/load_scene.lua" )
  21. ---doScript( "test/test_tree.lua" )
  22. ---doScript( "test/test_pick.lua" )
  23. ---doScript( "test/test_load.lua" )

I have windowed client long times in background. This is maybe the reason.

But this thread is about linux osprose.

Login & Char Servers should work correctly. But I actually stucked @ World Server (STB Handler part).

Just a question:
Someone has an objection against lowercase all files and rename the folders? (eg. World Server to worldserver)

This could be a help for porting for linux. It should not be a different @ windows.
When you write "#include 'name.h'" in linux, but the file is named NaMe.h, then it won't work. Sure I could edit all .cpp files and look if #include is set right, but I think this is easier for futur edits.
