If you look 3 topics up from this, there's an announcement labeled "READ: OSpRose Setup Guide". Now, take a guess what it is? THAT'S RIGHT, it's a SETUP GUIDE. And you should READ IT (Hence the label).
Next time, search, or atleast read announcements, before posting. If you fail to do this, you will receive a warning. Have a nice day :)

What if he/she doesn't actually want to have a nice day??
Are you planning to enforce your order to "have a nice day"?

For some reason i always get annoyed when people say that to me.
It just makes me feel like turning around to them, getting up in their faces and saying.....
"Are you going to make me have one??? I was quite enjoying my miserable day until you came along with your unwarranted happiness!"

Then again, I'm just a perverse kind of person sometimes. :D

It was more of a sarcastic "Have a nice day". Being all kind doesn't go with my standard attitude :P Though having worked in a position of customer service, I've got "Have a nice day/evening" engraved into my brain when it comes to shopping at a store.

It was a nice community, at one point, then people forgot how to read :)

considering im new to this forum and the fact that there is osrose/osirose and osprose and there stuff mix in with all its not very user friendly. why would it kill sombody just to link to the tpic if they know where it is and dont want to type the info.

like i been reading the osprose forum and i dont see anything about how to set up the client.

am i to assume its like OSrose where u download the gamegaurd fix. then let the cleint update to the max <eventho this emu says it need 112> run tdetect and use the client provided edit provided for Osrose?

and using the "search" i keep getting topic not related to what i need.

So does osprose use the same client edits as Osrose or what?

viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1542
Part 4 - Client and Client Files gives a good description of what to install and what not to update. I recommend putting your reading glasses back on, and finishing that post.
There's a literal shitton of guides on setting up a launcher/bat file, so no, I won't answer that question. Take a look at the Guides section, as stated in the end of the Setup Guide.
Do you need to run triggerdetect? Iunno, you might, might not, does the client crash if you don't run it? Then I say run it, if the client works without running it, well, then don't bother.

Also, I know you're new, lots of people are new, that's why we have a search feature, that's why you can browse back-topics, that's why we get irritated when you ask questions that have been answered before.
