RespawnZones

Postby Drakia on Wed May 14, 2008 11:57 pm

I made a PHP dumper to grab the respawn zones from .ZON files. Here is the list I grabbed as well as the PHP source code (I'm too lazy to make this one C++ right now).

RespawnExtractor.zip
The PHP source for the extractor. You'll probably need to change the $baseFile variable. This should be run on the command line.

respawnzones.zip
The .SQL file with the respawn zones in it. You will need to empty your existing table to use this one.

You dump using PHP? How long does a dump lasts? (php scripts are time limited).

Longest dump I've run across is like 20 seconds for respawn zones I think. They're pretty small dumps. Also you can change the time that PHP scripts can run for, my limit is set to an hour.
I code in PHP first because it's a lot easier, then I can convert it to C++ in a couple hours at most

Kay. Thought it lasts a long time. Sure you can change the run time. But I'm using a well configured server.

Well, this isn't exactly meant to be run on a server, it's meant to be run using a CLI PHP client.
