On the flying thing, it would be usefull if we could add a max heigth to certain maps, or even turn it off. So yes, with distance calculation. :)

if all we want to do is hover then some monsters such as bees already do it.
Also some NPCs do (Arua's fairy)
Need to lookup information on NARose items, skills, quests?
Now featuring a newly completed skill tree for all classes
Formatting fixed for different resolutions

flying is gonna be an issue mainly cos rose doesn't even have Z axis, that would need to be coded in from scratch, you can do hover with graphical tricks but not flying

Just throwing in my 2 cents, because I thought Lmame thought it was a good idea, so it was just a comment in case it doés get added to the client.

Hovering is cool, but since we're making a custom client, it would be an even better addition. :)

as far as i remember from the time when me and maxy were messing around with the map editor, maybe im remember something wrong, if i am i accept my mistake, but anyway as far as i remember the npc/pc placement on the map doesnt have a map height, just x and y axis, meaning u cant make a player walk 20 feet in air unless you do it with graphical tricks. I might be remembering wrong lol its been ages since i last looked at anything rose

They do have a z, it exists even in packets.
Now perhaps it's not used in client but it definitly exists.
That doesn't mean it would be hard if we do "our" client. If your force z or it does "basis z + amount" the client will display it.

not really, a lot of games have flying, perfect world, aion, lineage2, wow. Flyff is dead and forgotten long ago lol
