Hi all, we would like to try this client out, but, can't seem to connect through local router (forwarded etc2). I can only play with local ip. Wonder why is that. Anybody knows about this issue? Thanks! ;)

I've never tried running it on a LAN. I've used localhost and I've used an internet IP and it works fine for both of those.
Need to lookup information on NARose items, skills, quests?
Now featuring a newly completed skill tree for all classes

Hm.. what could be the problem. Isn't there suppose to be lanip/lansubmask? I know this EMU is totally different from the other EMUs here, just wanna ask.

After forwarding tho - login and character server works fine, only the worldserver is kicking me out. I get stucked in waiting.

the onli thing what i can think what the problem is that you set the ip adres wronge.

like osrose and osirose it must be don so:

server ip: internet ip adres:

lan ip: 192.168.1.x <<----- server lan ip

sub mask: normal is : 255.x.x.x but in osrose and osirose it must be: 192.168.1

I'm pretty sure I did everything right. There are no more lanip and lansub in ktrose tho.

I hope you can share your fix. Lan ip and lansub is indeed commented out - i tried removing the "/" and rebuild, still have the problem.

Eerr.. must be a bad idea updating SVN - last time it works but crashes the moment you cross the Stonehenge thingy at Birth island, today its crashes while loading QSDs. Does this happen only to me? :lol: I don't get it.

Have you copied the 3d Data from the KT rose client to the 3D Data server file ?
Because it shouldn't be happening,birth island is fine and quest works.

Yes I did - I actually downloaded a new/clean svn, then - recompiled it. Then copied everything from ktrose client to ktrose server. :)

EDIT: Redownloaded SVN, recompiled... copied everything.. works! :D Maybe something got corrupted in my first download.
